2026 Winter Intensive Program

When:  Feb 25, 2026 from 01:00 PM to 03:45 PM (ET)

From Clarity to Credibility: Leadership Skills & Personal Branding for PD Professionals

 February 25 & 26, 2026
1:00PM – 3:45PM EST

In this two-day interactive intensive designed with early- and mid-career professionals in mind, but with content applicable to all legal PD professionals, PDC Trusted Advisors Paula Edgar and Tracy LaLonde are teaming up to share practical frameworks to navigate ambiguity, secure buy-in, and strengthen trust and engagement across teams.

Across two highly interactive days, the sessions intentionally build on one another—moving from clarity and self-definition to strategic action and influence. Participants will create a strategic visibility plan, refine their personal brand, and align their LinkedIn presence. They will also walk away with ready-to-use language, actionable tools, and a tailored roadmap to lead up, across, and down, while elevating their professional impact.

Each day is structured as a 2.5-hour program, including a 75-minute session, a 15-minute break, and a concluding 60-minute session, as outlined below.
Elevating Your Brand & Navigating Ambiguity
Day 1 | Approximately 2.5 hours

Day 1 opens with Personal Branding with Paula Edgar. Participants reflect on how they show up within their organization and the broader PD community, draft a concise and authentic personal brand statement, and review their LinkedIn profile for alignment and improvement. The session focuses on brand clarity, stakeholder awareness, and how everyday actions communicate credibility and value.
Day 1, Session 1 closes with time to synthesize insights and identify brand-aligned behaviors to practice between sessions.

With a clear understanding of how they show up and are perceived, participants then turn to the behaviors that most directly shape credibility and working relationships: trust and trustworthiness.

In the afternoon session, Tracy LaLonde guides participants through a practical exploration of what it actually takes to build trust with colleagues—clarifying individual trust musts, examining whether trust is earned or extended, and uncovering the subtle, often inadvertent behaviors that quietly sabotage trust. Participants also tackle the harder moments: when trust is strained or broken, how it gets repaired in real time, and what credible recovery looks like in day-to-day working relationships.

Key Day 1 Deliverables

  • A draft personal brand statement
  • A set of LinkedIn profile enhancements tailored to individual goals
  • A short list of brand-aligned behaviors
  • A clarified set of personal trust musts for peer and colleague relationships
  • A self-assessment of common trust-eroding behaviors and blind spots
  • A practical trust-repair framework for addressing missteps and dropped balls

Strategic Visibility & Leading with Trust
Day 2 | Approximately 2.5 hours

Day 2 begins by building directly on Day 1 with a session on Strategic Visibility, facilitated by Paula Edgar. Participants create a visibility plan that strengthens their presence inside their organization and within the broader PD community. Through examples, planning templates, and guided discussion, they identify high-impact opportunities and outline where and how to show up more intentionally—internally and externally.

The closing session introduces Tracy LaLonde’s Figure-It-Out Framework, helping participants lead work forward—even when they don’t have the answer or the authority. Using practical tools for navigating ambiguity, influencing across differences, and building trust, participants learn how to bring people together around shared outcomes. The focus is on everyday leadership moments—projects, initiatives, and team dynamics—where credibility, clarity, and follow-through matter more than title.

Key Day 2 Deliverables

  • A completed Figure-It-Out Framework applied to a real project or initiative
  • A simple influence map for aligning priorities and stakeholders
  • A personalized strategic visibility plan with concrete next steps
  • A refined Trust Blueprint self-assessment and corresponding action commitments
  • Ready-to-use trust-building and engagement language for everyday leadership moments
  • A clear map of what to practice immediately after the program

Participants should expect an interactive experience that balances reflection, practical tools, and real-world application.
